曼聯以外
有唔少人去 Manchester 曼徹斯特城，會講咗「去曼聯」，可想而知，曼聯對 Manchester 呢個工業城嚟講，真係唔係一間球會咁簡單。除著名球會以外，一般人會以為 Manchester「冇乜嘢睇」。學子早前跟國內校友提及上星期走了曼城一趟，竟換來一聲冷笑：「吓？ Manchester？有甚麼好看呀？」其實除了 C.Ronaldo、Rooney、Giggs、買波衫，曼城近幾年建設了唔少新景物，都好值得親身體驗一下的。

聽講曼城有個museum好靚...係咪你影既呢個呀?
好靚嘅 museum？Imperial War Museum North？我覺得成件事都好好，由主題、建築物、展品到紀念品都好有水平 (縱使間館唔算大)。喺入口，有段話：「I wanted to create a building that people will find interesting and wish to visit, yet reflects the serious nature of a war museum. I have imaged the globe broken into fragments and taken the pieces to form a building; three shards that together represent conflict on land, in the air and on water. 」Daniel Libeskind, Architect, 1997
係別人眼中睇番曼城，好懷念又好開心...
imperial war museuｍ 真係好正～ urbis 門前既小草地，雖然無咩特別，不過我係果度望到既藍天白雲，我永遠都記得...

請教一下, Genvene到Basel麻煩/貴嗎?
噢，原來 Manchester 嘅 Piccadilly Square 係 Ando 手筆。唔怪之得行過見到嗰「六粒水泥滴」咁熟口熟面。開頭，我仲以為係啲人向佢「致敬」㖭。
Geneva 去 Basel 應該唔會好煩，搭火車就得，乾淨又快捷，不過車費就有少少貴 (對學生哥而言)，一分錢一分貨嘛。我頭站去 Basel，最後先到 Geneva，所以不太清楚直通票價。
