hi there~ i enjoy reading your blog, 'cos you always have some interesting (as well as skeptical) views towards the industry that make me nod and smile.
by the way, i used to study in brighton. it's a nice place, i'm sure u'll love it.
brighton marina, thanks for your comment and encouragement. Including this trip, I've been brighton twice. Althought the weather was terribly bad (it's raining dogs and cats all day), I enjoyed the mini car show very much. There were over 2000 old and new mini running from London and Brighton at the same time, it's really a great experience ! ... ... What did you study in Brighton ? Someting related to art & design ?
ablogaday, Woo ooo ! It's 20 years ago man ! Which countries did you go ? Which is your favourite city ? ... ... and what is hovercraft ? Why did you bring it all the way to Europe ?!?! ... ... ... ... ... ...
The trip in Barcelona was fantastic !!! I'll share some pictures here later.
Goosh! You don't know what is a hovercraft? it used to be an important means of transport between Britain and the continental Europe! This is the kind of hovercraft I took 20 years ago. It was the 1st time I've been to London when I took the hovercraft from Brighton to Brussel.
Of the 2 times I've been there, I've been to London, Brussel, France's Paris, Lyon and Nice, Austria's Vienna, Switzerland's Luzern, Lousanne, Zurich and Zermatt, Italy's Roma, Firenze and Venezia, Germany's Frankfurt and Koln, Greece's Athens... and the 3rd time only to Denmark's Copenhagen. If I can only recommend 1 place, Zermatt in southern Switzerland (near Italy) will definitely be my choice. It's signature landmark is the logo of the triangular chocolate. Zermatt is basically a resort for tourists. Only electrical vehicles are allowed in the city, so you can imagine how clean the air is. Every hotel there is like an IKEA showroom, though not big. You can have skiing there even in summer time. It is where I first tried para-gliding -- an unforgettable experience. When I went up to the mountains, I can even kneel down to taste the ice on the ground as snow water, since there's nearly no pollution... You can see I got excited even when I just recall the trip. Gotta to control my tongue... ha!
yeh, the mini car show must be great fun~ if u're staying in england for the summer, maybe u could go down to brighton to see the gay pride parade. i read about that in some local newspapers in brighton, it looks like a lot of fun, but i've never been to one myself (summer = time to fly home ^^).
i was majoring in media studies back then, but the course was a very theoretical one.

The first time I went to Europe in the 80s, I took the hovercraft from here to Belgium.
